The house has a porch with a beautiful view of the lake, a cozy lounge with floor heating and an open kitchen area. The kitchen comes with a cooker, fridge and microwave and is well equipped. There is a living room with TV and radio. And there is also a small bathroom with shower and toilet, and a bedroom towards the lake. The Cottage is located at the Northern shore of Lake Dobbertin and 2 kilometers from Dobbertin, which is a beautiful 800 years old village in Mecklenburg's Lake area .

The property perfectly suits two people or possibly a small family. It comes with a rowing boat, its own swimming area and a big lawn towards the lake in the south. The property is adjacent to the lake in the South and adjacent to a forest in the North. It is sunny, and very calmly and peacefully situated. In the evenings, you can listen to crane birds and watch the sun set from the porch.

Location

The holiday cottage is situated in Helmsrade near Dobbertin in the Mecklenburg lake area, immediately at the Dobbertin lake shore. Water quality is excellent and the lake is a beautiful and calm place to relax and go swimming. Motorboats are not allowed. Dobbertin is a pittoresque village with an old Benedictine monastery, peaceful and impressive, and beautifully situated on a scenic peninsual in the lake. The monastery is open to visitors. In Dobbertin there are a few shops, in particular a highly recommended ice-cream parlour which also sells yummy cakes, a grocery shop, a hair dresser, and a place for renting out canoes which offers guided tours of the lake and the surrounding interconnected lakes as well.

Prices

Prices range between 40 and 90€ depending on the season. Utility cost (for electricity, water and sewage) is charged based on usage. We are happy if you bring your own bed linen and towels. You can also rent them from us at a cost of 10€ per set.
